For 20+ years I've helped startups and growing companies build products, shape their engineering culture, and make technical decisions that really hold up.

I work best at the intersection of hands-on engineering and strategy: close enough to the code to know what's real, senior enough to see the bigger picture. Python and JavaScript have been my main tools for years, but I mainly care about solving the right problem with the right tool.

I've worn many hats, lead engineer, tech lead, tech architect, SRE, CTO advisor, and I enjoy the kind of work where technical and business thinking have to meet.

I've gone deep on AI, building with it, advising on it, and spending probably too much time thinking about where it's all heading.

I'm constantly pushing into new territory, and I always bring everyone along for the journey.
